About
My name’s John Reed Riley, and I’m a senior Software Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, currently in final term. In the past, I’ve had internships at Arius and iAnywhere. I’ve just finished my second internship with Microsoft in the Seattle area.
I graduate at the end of April 2008, and at the moment, I’m still not sure what I want to do after university. Currently, the options I’m looking at include full-time work, graduate school, or maybe trying to found a startup. Hopefully I’ll find something related to one of my professional interests: distributed systems, concurrency or security. (Of course, there’s also everyone’s favourite, artificial intelligence.)
If you happen to know about any openings relate to the above fields, or anything else I might be interested in, there’s a copy of my resume available online.
So far, all that’s here is my blog, my gallery, and a few fragments of code that might be useful to others.
